dc.descriptionDuring the past twenty years Colombia has witnessed a remarkably rapid and dynamic growth in air transport, heretofore unseen in its long history of aviation. This period coincides with the establishment and continuous implementation of public policy designed specifically for the air transport sector oriented along two well defined lines, on the one hand deregulation and liberalization of the industry and on the other hand privatization of airport infrastructure. For this reason this work aims to describe and analyse to what extent established and implemented public policy by Colombian institutions impacted to the recent development of the air transport industry.en-US
dc.descriptionEl transporte aéreo colombiano está experimentado un vertiginoso y dinámico desarrollo, nunca visto en toda su  historia, que dio inicio aproximadamente hace dos décadas. Este periodo coincide con el inicio y la implementación continuados de políticas públicas elaboradas específicamente para el sector del transporte aéreo orientadas en dos líneas bien definidas, por un lado a la desregulación y liberalización de la industria y por otro lado a la privatización de las infraestructuras aeroportuarias. Por ello este trabajo tiene el objetivo de describir y analizar en qué medida las políticas públicas fijadas e implementadas por las instituciones públicas colombianas contribuyeron al desarrollo reciente de la industria del transporte aéreo.es-ES
